Patrol Division
The
Springboro Police Department consists of twenty-five (25) sworn officers
and a civilian staff of three (3).
The Department’s Authorized Strength is as follows:

- Sergeants / Shift Commanders (3); School Resource Sergent (1)

The Springboro Police Department patrols approximately 11 square miles and is rapidly growing, providing service to over 15,000 persons. Springboro’s population is expected to grow to 25,000 people within the next 4-6 years.
Uniform Patrol is comprised of 16 sworn officers assigned as initial responders for all calls for service within the City of Springboro. In 2009, the patrol division logged more than 18,200 calls for service with an average response time of 4 minutes for all calls.

program of professional education and training. Officers strive to develop
