Advisory for Farms of Heatherwoode & Heatherwoode ONLY

On Wednesday, June 21 at approximately 9:00pm, the City Service Department will be repairing a 12-inch water main on SR 741, just south of the High School entrance.  This work is expected to last between 1-3 hours and MAY affect water pressure, or cause households to have no water for a short period of time, in the Farms of Heatherwoode and Heatherwoode neighborhoods ONLY –  NO OTHER AREAS OF THE CITY SHOULD BE AFFECTED.

Due to the work being done, everyone in the Farms of Heatherwoode and Heatherwoode neighborhoods are being advised to boil your drinking water for at least 48 hours AFTER 9:00pm on Wednesday, June 21.  Taking showers, washing clothes and other activities such as those are ok to use non-boiled water.  This boil advisory is precautionary ONLY.

Again, the work on the water line that may affect you is being done on Wednesday, June 21 at approximately 9pm.  We will alert everyone when the boil advisory has been lifted via Facebook, Twitter and a direct Code Red message to those directly affected.

If you have any questions, please call (937) 748-4343.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as we repair this water line.
